A Web site, http://www.recovery.illinois.gov, has been created to answer questions about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the recently passed economic stimulus proposal, as well as take suggestions for stimulus projects.

According to the Web site Illinois taxpayers, businesses, and government officials can use the site to learn information about the program and suggest possible projects.  A Stimulus team will be available to work with every community.

The site also includes detailed information about the Recovery and Reinvestment Act, an updated list of recovery programs, frequently asked questions about the recovery act and information about the transparency and accountability of the program.
