Barrington, Illinois –Residents of the 26^th Senate District have an opportunity to attend a fun-filled, informative children’s health and safety fair on Saturday, September, 19. Admission to the fair is FREE and is sponsored by State Senator Dan Duffy (R-Lake Barrington) and State Representative Ed Sullivan Jr. (R-Mundelein).

The event will be held at Highland Middle School, 310 W. Rockland Rd., Libertyville, from 9 a.m. to noon. Fair attendees can take advantage of free refreshments and giveaways as they obtain information about prevalent children’s issues such as bicycle safety, child safety seat checks, flu prevention, college savings program and much more! 

The Dance Academy of Libertyville will perform at 10 a.m. along with other fair features including backpack safety demonstrations at 10 and 11 a.m. and a demonstration from the Lake County Sherriff department K-9 Unit at 11 a.m. Be sure to see the 11:30 a.m. performance from Footprints Tap Ensemble.
